A one-of-one original miniature color watercolor portrait, created by hand and permanently housed within a mechanical wristwatch. An intimate work of art to wear, carry, and treasure.

Sovereign Value — Art You Can Trade
Each registered Minnaar is assigned a Sovereign Value (SV) by Steven Minnaar.
The reference unit is 1 SV = 1 troy ounce of silver.
Sovereign Value represents the exchange value Steven is willing to accept for a work and would willingly offer in other Minnaar Money to acquire it. It is not necessarily the work's original purchase price or conventional market value.
Collectors may exchange eligible registered Minnaars for one or more available artworks of equal total SV, subject to the established exchange rules.
Every registered Minnaar retains its permanent place in the Minnaar Catalogue, even as it changes hands.
Only eligible works with a valid Certificate of Authenticity may be exchanged within the Catalogue.

Guest Artist Selections — Submit Your Art
Trade Your Art for Minnaar Money.
Minnaar Money includes selected works by other artists, and you are invited to become part of the collection.
Artists may submit up to three original artworks or eligible limited editions at a time, as often as they wish. Submission is free.
Eligible works must be on paper or canvas panel, measuring no more than 11 × 14 inches. Stretched canvases are not accepted.
For each accepted work you choose to exchange, you contribute the physical artwork in a clear protective sleeve, together with one troy ounce of silver.
In return, you choose any available 1 SV artwork from the Minnaar Catalogue—including original works by other Guest Artists.
Your artwork receives permanent Catalogue registration, creator attribution, a digital Certificate of Authenticity, and the established exchange privileges of Minnaar Money.
Your chosen Minnaar becomes yours to keep, gift, collect, or trade.

Musicians, poets, writers, and visual artists are invited to discover Artcards—miniature collectible artworks combining original visual art with music, poetry, and storytelling.
Three initial formats are available:
Musical Artcards — Original music and visual art.
Poetry Artcards — Written and spoken poetry combined with visual art.
Story Artcards — Short stories, novellas, and novels represented through miniature visual artworks.
Anyone may create, collect, gift, sell, and trade Artcards independently.
Selected physical Artcards may also become registered Minnaar Money, with an assigned Sovereign Value and the established exchange privileges.
